Return & Exchange Policy
Any return or exchange can be done within 7 days after your order is delivered. We offer a Return to Origin refund policy for all our prepaid orders. Refund for COD orders will not be refunded back in cash. We will only transfer the same by NEFT to a bank account in the name of the customer.
We will not accept any return or refund request after 7 days. Additionally, we do not accept return/refund requests over phone.
When are returns not possible?
- When the return window of 7 days is passed.
- Products from your order are used, damaged, or soiled.
- Tags, silk marks, coupon codes are missing.
- All customised orders are non-returnable.
- Products purchased using NORETURN coupon.
- All sarees above ₹10,000 are not eligible for refund/return unless there’s a manufacturing defect.
- Exclusive one-off pieces including Kantha Stich and Chitralekha sarees are not liable for refund/return unless there’s a manufacturing defect.
- Jewellery items like dokra and other hand-made accessories are not eligible for return/refund/exchange.
- Personalised products are not eligible for return/refund/exchange.
Return of Damaged/Defective Products
Please send us your request for return of any damaged product within 24 hours of receipt of the package. You may send your request at info@sarmisthacreations.com stating the nature of the damage, a clear uncut opening video, and at least one image highlighting the nature of the damage/defect.
Package Opening Video
Please note: It is mandatory to capture an uncut/unedited package opening video for claiming any return/replacement for defective products. No refund/replacement request will be entertained without an uncut/unedited package opening video.
In case the customer receives defective/wrong product(s), reverse pickup will be generated by us and the consequent shipping charges will be covered by us. For reverse pickups generated by us our courier partner will pick up the product from your doorstep.
If the customer’s pin code is non-serviceable by our courier partners for return shipment, then the customer is liable to self-ship the product(s) and the shipping charges upto ₹100 are 100% refundable if customer receives defective/wrong product(s).
Kindly pack the product(s) properly to prevent damage during transit. Please ensure the product(s) must be in unused condition with all tags and packaging intact.

Please note: We suggest you to select a reliable courier service rather than the cheapest option. We will not be liable for any consequent damages or the product getting lost in transit when you self-ship the product.
Customised Products
Customised products such as specially crafted sarees, or colour combinations, etc. are non-returnable. Additionally, these orders are not eligible for cash on delivery and have to be fully paid for at the time of placement of order.
Return of Exclusive Sarees
No return or refund will be accepted for exclusive sarees that are priced above ₹10,000, including Chitralekha series and kantha stitch sarees, unless there is a manufacturing defect. For any manufacturing defect, no replacement will be provided for these sarees. We will provide either a refund or a store credit (in the form of a coupon) which you can use to purchase another product from our store.
Refund Policy
Prepaid Orders: Refund for prepaid orders will be processed within 5 working days after receiving your returned product at the warehouse and subject to it passing the quality check.
We do a strict quality check of each return to assess any manufacturing defects that may have eluded us during pre-shipping checks. If the product does not pass our quality check (appears used/washed/soiled/damaged/tags missing/) no refund will be entertained and the same product will be returned back to you.
If the returned product passes our quality check refund for the same will be processed via our payment gateway. Please allow 3-5 working days for the payment to get reflected in your payment source.
Exclusive Discount Coupon Code
Note: If you’ve placed a prepaid order using an exclusive discount coupon code, the value of the coupon code will be refunded through another exclusive coupon code and the remaining amount will be refunded to your payment source.
Non-exclusive Discount Coupon Code
For prepaid and cash on delivery orders placed using non-exclusive coupon codes only the amount paid will be refunded, and no exclusive coupon code will be issued. You are free to use any of the non-exclusive coupon codes available on the site/advertised elsewhere to make another purchase.
Refund of Cash on Delivery Orders
(a) You can choose for an exclusive coupon code: An exclusive coupon code of the ordered value will be sent to your registered email address/WhatsApp number within 48 working hours after receiving your order at the warehouse and quality check of the product(s). You can use the exclusive coupon code to make future shopping on our website.
Alternatively,
(b) You can ask for a refund in which case we will issue a refund of the amount paid by you towards the price of the product. We will only transfer the same by NEFT to a bank account in the name of the customer. Please note, only the amount paid towards the price of the product will be refunded. COD charges and any shipping charges paid are non-refundable.
Refund of international orders
International orders are not liable for exchanges and returns. If you receive a defective product please follow the procedure for return for domestic orders and a store credit/coupon code will be provided.
Cancellation Policy
COD orders: All COD orders are confirmed by us by a phone call. So, if you have changed your mind you can simply say so when we call you for verification. We will not process your order.
Pre-paid orders: For pre-paid orders we will not ask for a phone verification. We process such orders within the same day when orders are placed. If you change your mind, you have to cancel the order within the first few hours of placing it and ask for a refund.
The cancellation request for your order can be done within the first few hours of placing the order by sending us an email at info@sarmisthacreations.com.
A majority of our products are made-to-order and some require intricate embroidery and hand painting/hand-block printing or additional embelishment such as sequin or zardosi work. Once work on your order has commenced we will not be able to cancel or refund for such an order. Such orders will go through and will be delivered as usual.
For orders that have been processed and manifested for pick-up by our courier partner(s), we will not be able to accept a cancel request. Again, such orders will go through and will be delivered as usual.
Colour Accuracy
The colour of the product(s) may vary as per the screen resolution of your phone, brightness settings and the colour cast of the screen and any ambient light. Majority of our products are photographed in natural light. But we also shoot images indoors using artificial lights. Additionally, all our pure silk sarees are either hand-dyed, hand block printed or hand painted. There is no way to make the colour 100% same saree after saree. That means, there is always going to be a difference in the colour that you see on your mobile/computer screen vs the actual product. Please keep a tolerance of 5-7% in terms or colour accuracy. We do not offer any returns or exchanges for 5-7% colour accuracy variations.
